Applying at a Rakuten Mobile shop is also covered, as long as you meet the conditions.
Data Type and Rakuten Turbo are also covered, but the points and conditions are different (Rakuten Turbo: 7,000 points, once per person. Data Type: no Rakuten Link call needed). Please check after entering the campaign.

Rakuten Mobile’s website lets you apply in English. Use the same Rakuten ID for the entry and the application — a different ID will not be counted.

FAQ
Do I need to enter first?
Yes. You need to log in from the referral campaign URL (entry) before you apply. Once you have entered, you can apply later. If you forgot, an entry within 7 days including the application day may still be accepted, but you may be asked to confirm — so please enter right away.
Does entering sign me up?
No. Entering is just logging in with your Rakuten ID. There is no charge, and you apply separately.
What is the deadline?
23:59 on the last day of the second month after the day you entered. For example, if you enter in September, the deadline is November 30. By then you must not only apply but also start using the line and make a 10+ second call with Rakuten Link. Applying alone is not enough.
Do I get the points automatically after signing up?
No. After you start using the line, you need to make a call of 10 seconds or more from the Rakuten Link app. Calling a family member or your own other number is fine. Calls to numbers starting with 0570, # numbers and calls with a prefix number are not counted.
When will I get the points?
In 3 parts over 3 months, starting 4 months after the month you entered.
Switching carriers (MNP): 5,000 → 5,000 → 4,000 points. Other cases: 5,000 → 4,000 → 4,000 points.
I cancelled Rakuten Mobile before. Can I join?
Yes. Returning customers are covered. The benefit applies to up to 5 lines per person.
Can I use a different Rakuten ID for the entry and the application?
No. Please use the same Rakuten ID. An application with a different ID will not be counted.
Does it cost anything to use this page?
No. The entry is free. Your application and contract are with Rakuten Mobile, Inc.
